The Kitchen uses transitional Verve style cabinets in a warm Mohair lacquer finish to lighten up the space while still holding its own to old, exposed timber beams. The cabinet color choice feels clean and fresh while still nodding to a classic period décor. The jewel of the living areas are the vast surrounding library bookshelves, all created with the rich Textured Oak Marsh wood that mingles seamlessly with the heavy stone fireplace wall and timber beams. And the large mudroom modernizes everyday country living with lots of storage, laundry, and a window bench done in the super durable Mineral Kiruna and Gray-wood laminates. By creating a well-planned design with sophisticated Leicht materials and finishes, the designer magically retains the character of the old Tudor home, while infusing the space with new cabinetry, modern functionality, and modern storage systems.
