The homeowner desired a modern and high functioning new kitchen, bar, and living room media unit to unify the main area of the home and create a sophisticated and dramatic multifunctional space that felt personalized and cultivated. To achieve this we flipped the layout of the room, moving the kitchen to the side of the room where the old family room had been located to create a larger kitchen and a more open feel.

The designer skillfully layers and connects all design elements to support a natural and moody vibe with beautiful functionality and alluring warmth throughout.
Task zones are meticulously defined and maximized for luxurious interaction. A large multipurpose island anchors the modern european kitchens, and decorative glass wall cabinets between two tall furniture-style cabinet runs create a central focal point.
There is a nice balance of open and closed spaces, as glass cabinetry and open shelving show off personal items for a heartfelt design, while built-in appliances and cutting-edge hidden storage solutions blend seamlessly into the cabinetry to maintain a clean contemporary look. Got to love the exquisite bar area, which effortlessly connects the kitchen to the living room. The media wall smartly hides all tech equipment behind flip-down doors for easy access.
