Grey Handleless Cabinets
All the ceiling soffits were removed to allow for taller wall cabinets, significantly increasing storage capacity. To create the open and airy feel typical of modern European kitchens, we eliminated the peninsula and extended the sink wall to make room for a spacious wide drawer and pullouts. Additionally, the unnecessarily wide kitchen opening was slightly narrowed to fit a tall pullout pantry, a feature that truly "sparks joy" for the client.
The transformation included replacing dark cherry cabinets with sleek white and grey handleless cabinets, paired with a glass backsplash. This design not only elevates the space's crisp and clean aesthetic but also reflects the innovative functionality and timeless style of German kitchens, as showcased in German kitchen showrooms and embodied by Leicht.

Large Kitchen Storage Cabinets
The original cabinets had major wear and tear, lacking storage space and functionality. Also the oven was in a diagonal position which took up a lot of space, so by reconfiguring the layout as little as possible, we were able to gain the corner kidney storage as well as a bit more of needed counter space.
